GTECH PRINTING CORPORATION SELECTED BY LOTERIA NACIONAL DE NICARAGUA AS THE PROVIDER OF INSTANT-TICKET PRINTING SERVICES

LAKELAND, FLORIDA and PROVIDENCE, RHODE ISLAND – March 14, 2012 – GTECH Corporation announced that its subsidiary, GTECH Printing Corporation (GPC), has signed a two year instant-ticket printing contract with the Loteria Nacional de Nicaragua, following a competitive procurement. Loteria Nacional de Nicaragua is one of Central America’s top-performing lotteries with regard to instant-ticket sales, with 35% of the Lottery’s revenue derived from the sale of instant tickets. GPC has been providing instant-ticket printing services in Nicaragua since 2009.
